Cats are a huge inspiration in the world of decorative arts, fashion and textile design.  These are a few that I have seen in my travels.  Meow!

There are so many different shades of red…scarlet, crimson, ruby, cinnabar and cerise. Whether it is in my fashion line, jewelry, home accessory products or interior design, it doesn’t matter which tone I choose it comes across as one of the most confident colors out there.                                Make a statement with red.

No matter how advanced a culture may be, there are certain elements of design that in their simplicity, are too powerful, beautiful, and timeless to ignore. I have always loved using circles in my work. Its form offers a flexibility and elegance that will forever be relevant. I am constantly surprised by its newness.

The form of an egg is a bud of inspiration for an artist. The embryo of an idea can spawn into many alluring and fascinating creatures of beauty.           As Easter approaches let your imagination lay many clever concepts.

When I am out shopping I am a sucker for a corsage in any medium. I use them for inspiration when designing my fabrics, wall-coverings, ready to wear, jewelry and more. A corsage flourishes when used as a lamp, or in a decorative way in details, or even on a graffiti wall which gives the corsage an unexpected edge.
